This edition of Dearborn News showcases the recently held "Dearborn C.A.R.E.S. Festival", a weekend long family-friendly event that includes the Crowley Park Campout and the Going...Going...GREEN! 5k Run/Walk, both of which are fundraisers for the Adopt-A-Watt Program in the City of Dearborn.

Some of the events included free entertainment including music and an outdoor movie night, games and a bike parade. Exhibits related to environmentally conscious and healthy living, including Hybrid Vehicle test drives hosted by LaFontaine Honda and Village Ford.
